Hardwick Photo Project
Do you have good photos of the Hardwick area?
Attention photographers and shutterbugs, the Hardwick Downtown Partnership and Hardwick Historical Society invite you to be part of an effort to gather high-quality photos of Hardwick and the surrounding area. Selected photos will be used to create a community archive and for communications materials. We’re looking for submissions with these attributes:
High-resolution, well-lit, in focus
Relatively current (within 10 years)
Show Hardwick in different seasons
Show places and features distinctive to the Hardwick area
Do not have identifiable faces (unless permission can be obtained)
We welcome all kinds of photos–landscapes, close-ups, people, nature, buildings, events, etc. Creativity is strongly encouraged.
All qualified contributors will receive a $5 gift card from Front Seat Coffee. If any of your photos are selected, we’ll show our appreciation with a $25 gift card of your choice or a beautiful artisan blanket, courtesy of the Whistle Emporium.
Selected photos will become part of the Creative Commons (creativecommons.org) which would release most copyrights and allow photos to be used for broad public purposes.
